With over 25 years of experience in architectural design, general contracting and interior decorating, DeeDee Dawson assists homeowners with home renovations, creating an easy, fun experience from dream to design through construction to hanging pictures on the wall.
BACKGROUND:
Prior to opening Great Xpectations Design in Texas in 2008, DeeDee owned & operated Dawson & Warren Inc, a leading architectural design & general contracting business in Austin Texas, which she opened with a partner in 1998 and ran for 10+ years. DeeDee moved her family and her business to Silicon Valley in 2012 and relocated to Old Cotswold, Charlotte, North Carolina in 2020.
TODAY:
After almost a decade in the quaint neighborhood of Willow Glen, where she worked with clients throughout San Jose and Silicon Valley, she has settled into a new area complete with historic neighborhoods and charming communities.
She develops and manages the entire project for her client from concept to reality, including management of the project, the budget, and the subcontractors, allowing her to successfully meet her clients’ dreams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
DeeDee graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Interior Design from Ray College of Design/Illinois Institute of Design in Chicago Illinois.
